STF Såmmarlappa Fjällstuga is a remote mountain cabin located along Padjelantaleden, roughly 36 kilometres west of Kvikkjokk in Jokkmokks kommun. The cabin sits just a few metres from the bank of the Tarraälven river and offers 18 beds across a shared guest room with 16 beds, plus a safety room with 2 additional beds, a wood stove, and an emergency telephone. A small on-site shop sells provisions and some outdoor equipment. There is no mobile coverage at the cabin. Guests self-cater using the shared kitchen and are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves. A resident host is on hand to help. The area is known for its rich wildlife, including lynx and wolverine. The cabin is open in late winter and summer seasons only, and summer access requires a boat crossing on Tarraälven.
