STF Storulvåns Fjällstation

STF Storulvåns Fjällstation is a mountain station run by Svenska Turistföreningen, situated at the end of the road in the Jämtland mountains, about an hour from Åre. With around 100 beds spread across 35 rooms, accommodation ranges from simple rustic rooms to family rooms, with guests choosing their preferred level of comfort. The station serves as a natural starting point for hiking routes including the popular Jämtlandstriangeln, as well as ski touring in winter. Facilities include a restaurant, self-catering kitchen, sauna, sports shop, and equipment rental. Guided activities are available year-round, from mountain running and ski touring to family-focused programmes. Breakfast is available, and the kitchen sources organic and locally produced ingredients. The station holds a Green Key sustainability certification. Public transport connections are available via train to Duved or Enafors, with onward bus transfer. Open in winter and summer seasons only.
