Storliens Fjällgård

Storliens Fjällgård is a small, family-friendly hostel located in Storlien, in the Swedish mountains close to the Norwegian border. The hostel sits at the foot of the open fell landscape, with vast wilderness stretching in all directions. Accommodation is spread across several buildings, including a main building, a cottage known as Torpet, and an annex. Self-catering kitchens are available whenever the hostel is open. The pub, restaurant, and sauna are currently closed. The hostel is a starting point for the southern Kungsleden trail, with routes continuing toward Blåhammaren, Sylarna, and Helags mountain stations. Additional trails lead into Norway via Storeirikvollen and Schulzhytta. In winter, cross-country ski tracks are maintained directly from the property. Dogs are welcome. The hostel is accessible by train from Stockholm, making it a practical base for both summer hiking and winter skiing.
