STF Sylarna Fjällstation

STF Sylarna Fjällstation is a mountain station located in roadless terrain near Sweden's southernmost glacier, roughly 16 kilometres from the nearest road at Storulvån. It can only be reached on foot or by ski from trailheads including Storulvån, Blåhammaren, and Helags, as well as from Norwegian stations at Nedalen and Storerikvollen. The station offers dormitory and private room accommodation for up to 100 guests, with access to over 500 kilometres of marked trails for hiking, ski touring, and summit trips including Storsylen at 1,762 metres. Facilities include a restaurant serving two-course evening meals, an organic breakfast buffet, a communal self-catering kitchen, sauna, shop, and wifi. Guided activities are available in both summer and winter seasons. The station holds Green Key certification and operates on a cashless basis. Open in winter and summer seasons only.
