STF Akka Fjällstuga is a remote mountain cabin in Jokkmokks kommun, Swedish Lapland, situated with the mountain Áhkká — known as the Queen of Lapland — rising to the east and the faint roar of the Vuojatädno river audible about two kilometres away. Many consider it to have the finest views in the Swedish mountain world. The station has 30 beds spread across two cabins, each with shared dormitory-style rooms of 10 beds, self-catering kitchens, and wood-burning stoves. Dogs are permitted in designated rooms. A resident warden is on site during opening seasons. The location suits families, hikers, and mountaineers alike. Fishing in Akkajaure lake and Vuojatädno, short hikes, and summit trips to Pålnotjåkko are popular activities. The cabin sits along the Padjelantaleden trail. Access is by boat across Akkajaure in summer, followed by a 2 km walk, or via a marked ice route in winter. Open late February to April and late June to early September.
