STF Ritsem

STF Ritsem is a mountain lodge situated on the shores of Lake Akkajaure in Swedish Lapland, around 100 kilometres west of Gällivare. It serves as a key starting and finishing point for the 160-kilometre Padjelantaleden trail, with Sarek and Stora Sjöfallet national parks also within reach. The surrounding landscape is dominated by the Áhkkámassif, rising over 2,000 metres across the lake. The lodge offers accommodation for 26 to 50 guests and is open during winter and summer seasons. On-site facilities include a small café, a shop selling provisions and some outdoor equipment, Wi-Fi, parking, and electric vehicle charging. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling depending on the season. Getting here requires travelling to Gällivare first, then continuing by bus, taxi, or car.
